We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the app, including your account identifier, wallet balances, credit usage totals, subscription status, purchase receipts, and basic technical/session data used for authentication, billing sync, and abuse prevention.
Your PDFs are processed primarily on your device. Text extraction happens in the app. When OCR is needed, the app may send page images directly to Replicate. When chat, summary, or quiz features are used, the app may send extracted text directly to OpenAI.
We do not intentionally store your uploaded PDF files or extracted document text in our database as part of the normal app flow.

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple. We store purchase and subscription metadata needed to manage credits, restore subscription state, process RevenueCat sync, and provide support.
We retain account, wallet, and purchase data for operational, billing, fraud-prevention, and support purposes. We do not intentionally keep user document text in our database as part of the normal mobile app workflow described above.
